Kronplatz in South Tyrol - the Ski – Experience!
The holiday resort Kronplatz is situated in South Tyrol „ White Valley “, the Puster Valley.
Fourteen modern gondola ropeways, eight chair lifts as well as eight T-bars lead up to the wide and mostly treeless rounded mountain top of the Kronplatz from three different sides. Thanks to the considerable transport capacity of more than 57,000 people per hour the 30 lifts in the ski area rarely work to full capacity and so there are hardly any queuing times.

The Kronplatz ski area boasts more than 90 km of perfectly groomed pistes altogether. State-of-the-art snowmaking systems which can cover up to 85 km of the pistes with snow as well as a fleet of 24 powerful piste groomers and a crew of almost 240 employees make sure that excellent snow conditions are always guaranteed.

The great variety of ski runs offered ranges from flat slopes for absolute novices to very demanding pistes that represent a challenge even to expert skiers. A unique feature of the Kronplatz ski area are the four pistes down to the valley.
You will hardly find another skiing mountain that has three pistes down to the valley which are between 5 and 6.5 km long and which are moreover open to skiers late into the winter thanks to artificial snowmaking.
